    I’d love some C&C on this….

I like it, though I do think that a little less of the very bright sky may
work better, it is the first thing that my eye was drawn to and not the
“fairy” which is really the focal point. Lovely colours and a great idea
the right hand wing is just a tad to close to the edge of the frame.

I like it .. the purple of the outfit works well against the green backdrop … I’d agree about the bright sky … I had to scroll down to see the subject tho, and maybe that brough my attention more to the sky?

    Good work tho..

Hi Kevin – i’ve seen another similiar shot on your website which exceeds this one technically. I have similar sentiments to the above comments – over exposed sky – and subject is to tight in the bottom corner. I’d have probably use a tripod – taken three exposures (two for forest) – and mask the subject back in. No doubt you may have already thought of this. A ND grad could have also been employed….but i’m not a fan of them.

Ps – i do keep a regular eye on your blog site http://kevoto.com – and really appreciate the link to the ‘original’ shot.

    Keep ’em coming.

Thanks very much for the comments guys – I appreciate it. I’ve reworked the image based on your feedback – here’s the new version. Is it an improvement?

Beautiful atmospheric shot, maybe the positioning of her right leg is a little awkward.

Thanks very much guys – glad you like the new version. I didn’t fancy reworking it a third time! :)

I’ve posted the original on my blog http://kevoto.com/513 if you want to see the unprocessed file for comparison. And the other fairy shot that brendancullen was referring to can be seen here http://kevoto.com/435

    Thanks for your help.
