It’s a disused military barracks, which is rapidly falling into ruin for the most part (I’m starting to feel old – I know lads that were in the FCA that would have spent a bit of time here in the 80s). It’s a photographic goldmine, so long as you watch out for holes in the floor, or even lack of floors.
Other bits have been restored as a rather fine museum, and there’re a couple of galleries on the site, one of which has Andy McInroy’s exhibition at the moment
