Took a drive along the shore of Strangford Lough and came home this.
Not a great day but was nice to get out.
    C&C very welcome…

I like this a lot. I like the composition, the simplicity and the sense of atmosphere.

Great tonal variation, light and shadows.

    Remarkable shading in the sky.

    Thanks very much BM 8)
I pass these trees alot during the summer when im going fishing.I only ever took a few quick shots from the left, and i had no filters then so i never got any shots i liked.
They would look well with stormy clouds behind them.I`ll keep trying throughout the different seasons..There`s always barley in this field so i`ll try again then..

Hi Dave. I really like this. The tones etc are nice, but what really stands out for me is the individuality of each tree. They seem to have their own personalities, which fits in very well with the title. Nicely spotted

    Thanks miki g :D
I`ve only been at these trees during the summer when they have leaves, but they look so much better without..
Im quite chuffed with the title.Im usually rubbish at thinking of something but as you say i think it suits very well :D

Talk about a post title that grabs attention, great image by the way, well exposed and great subject, fab when you can just pick up an image like this when your out for a drive.

thanks for the comments paul :)
its nice to come home with something good but if im honest i find being out with my camera more frustrating than when im fishing :?
i could take 500 shots and only get one or two that i like. But if i catch 500 fish i`ll have a hell of a lot more than one or two that i`ll remember,or worth photographing :)
i`ve only been taking photography seriously as a hobby for a year so maybe i`ll get more good shots when i`ve been doing it for 22 years like i have been fishing

Boat fishing or shore fishing? And are you catching much? I’m thinking of doing some sea fishing this year.
