4 shots stitched using “hug-in”AnonymousParticipantI think the black & white works a treat, a really beautiful image.
I would remove the twig from the water in the lower left of the image.IsabellaParticipanti really like the first. as john said i prob would remove that twig if possible. i think the composition works well with the diagonal line of rocks leading in to the two layers of waterfall and the small area of trees and growth.
im not mad on the second one, its a bit too green though I’m sure thats down to the weather and natural light that day. the compositions not as strong as the first either.
i dunno much about slow exposure waterfall stuff but it looks about right to me, not too over the top as theres still a nice amount of detail left in other areas.
redtoMemberreally like the first one the second is a take it or leave it for me. the twig is a bit distracting allright, although I did not notice it at first.
RASMITH32MemberNice set dallan. I actually prefer the 2nd and the richness of the greens and autumnal tones. You have also capture nice leading lines to the falls in 2. The falls are a tad blown in 1 for me , possibly due to the B&W conversion
jodal1975Participantthanks for the feedback folks.
john god bless your eye sight !…with all the looking i did at the pic , i did not notice that twig !
isabella , unfortunately as you say ,that was the light of the day (and of most days in the north west , grey and dull )i think the composition of the 2nd is probably a bit weaker too , due to 2 reasons . firstly, lack of places to set up and take the shot but also secondly because i was insistent on including the small trickle of water far left in the pano ..which im not so sure was a good idea now.
thanks ras , your right about the blown out highlights at the bottom of the falls in 1 , i might see if i can pull them back in .
redto , thanks for the feedback. its good to have another sligo man on board ! im sure you can vouch for what i said about the weather !redtoMemberoh yeah the weather up here is frightful. Its hard to get motivated by times

the mornings are fantastic lately but hard to
pull over and stop when you are stuck in a line of traffic.anyway – i really like #1 the sharpness through the scene is great.
#2 is nice too, i like the colours.both compositions are really good
well done
