I stopped while driving home from work the other day because I saw a buzzard on a pole in a field, by the time I got the camera and tripod out of the car the bird was gone but I saw 2 foxes. One saw me and trotted away, one took a little longer before it spotted me. 15 mins earlier and this would have been lit by golden setting sunlight, the whole field was in shade when the pic was taken but I wasn’t too put out!
Excellent photos as it shows the Fox in its natural surroundings. You coped well with the field in shadow, What lens did you use?? They are pin sharp…. Well done
I can only add the word Absolutely to the Excellent, Super and Great comments so far. I expect to see a post in the Members Announcements forum in relation to these in the near future, well done…….Mikka
steelydan – lens was canon 300mm f/4 f/4. Fox was pretty close
adrianmatthews – camera was on tripod, about 50cm-ish off the ground, the field rose slightly to a crest before dipping away to give a nice bit of fresh air between fox and background.
