thanks to rhona and frankie for the hard work with this project look forward to finishing it now.
SodafarlMemberFP sorry only 1 shot showing, Beth certainly suits the hair not 100% on the makeup although it is a fashion shoot so why not a great pic of her again.
SodaBethscottParticipantHey Fresh –
Wow what can I say another spectacular shoot with you and some more outstanding images to add to my collection. Thanks for all you have done, think I can speak for me and Rhona, these images are truly wonderful. The blue one is totally out of this world and unlike anything I have in my collection and I love the second image – looks like I am in front of a light box and am quite impressed with how I look in it – very fresh and natural. Just Thanks and Wow – all I can really say.Beth
ThorstenMemberLove the second shot! Reminds of a shot I saw on Jon Gray’s Lighting Masterclass DVD.
The first shot is great too but it just doesn’t appeal to me in the same way the second one does. Great work all around though. Hopefully we’ll get to see the final outcome of this project before long.
SodafarlMemberNow i can see the second shot and well worth the wait. I have to agree with Beth she does look WOW
SodaJohnnyMcMillanParticipantHeya….Just saw shots now. Top one favourite…just don’t think the negative spaces work well on the bottom shot….but if you want my two cents…I’d have these images as separate images…don’t think they work as a pair…sorry
RobMemberGreat stuff. Beth/Frankie looks fantastic. Can’t pick a favourite between the two
but give me time and I might, or I might not, or I might.Rob.
nolongerParticipantI love the second shot. Not sure what I think about the first one… the makeup is a bit much for me.
deeorganParticipantI like both shots, but in the first the expression on the models face doesn’t suit the extreme make-up. too relaxed in my opinion.
love your lightingdan.browneParticipantI am probably going to get myself shot here, I am by no means a pro or anything near it to be making critique, but anyway here I go!!!
I love the lighting in the first shot. the colour of the make-up around the eyes is amazing, the lips on the other hand, for me doesn’t work in this shot. It is lacking something else along with it. It feels a bit empty to me and the models pose is to relaxed for make-up so brash.
The 2nd shot – the pose is great a small bit of fine tuning in her stance, if she angled her body back a small bit it might have a better affect on the shot. The models face seems a bit too disconnected from the rest of the shot for me. And the shadowed lower part of the shot, i feel, takes away from what is a great shot.
deeorganParticipantHi again. I was browsing some sites and came across this photo and thought of your post
Photo by TNT Photo http://www.flickr.com/photos/tntphoto/769848224/Think this illustrates how the expression and makup work together to give the same feel.
