Freakish weather

Hi Dorel,
I find this image quite impressive.
I love the way there is the big threatening sky with the hint
of more benign weather in the blue sky.
Then we have the massive green ocean and finally the tiny boat.There’s a great range of colours.
Being picky, I suppose, I would have liked the boat a little
farther along but that might not have been possible.Very well done for capturing this.

Quite impressive indeed. The positioning of the boat is ideal as is the use of the polariser. I take it this was at a wide angle?
Unfortunately there’s plenty of opportunity to take freakish weather of late…damn Irish summer.

The boat adds an added sense of scale to the scene.I find the water a bit overpowering though,

Excellent shot, only thing I find like Alan is the slightly unbelievabl water, natural or not…polariser maybe caused it?
The green water is 100% natural ! The only thing, what I was doing special for this area,was some doge on left side.I used a polariser and the lens is a Canon 17-40mm at 17mm f14 on Canon 5D.
Thank you for you coments !Soo jealous, I saw this on Sunday (from Baldoyle) & pointed out the colours of the water & sky to my wife, and what a great photo opportunity it was. Unfortunately we were on our way out to a family thing & I didn’t get to shoot it :cry: You did a great job capturing it!
