:) I really like the cross processing .. and I’m a fan of all of these shots, they are really great form the fact that you flung yourself on the ground to take them to the creative presentation .. the framing in the first is really different and i love it but seriously the second photo .. a frog with expression .. how great is that :D

Yeah the second is a funny looking git… i was actually working in the darkroom at the time and heading back into the kitchen for hot water when I seen them, so I was in old clothes and didnt really mind getting down in the wet. I anyone is interested I have the tutorial for the cross processing as a JPEG file (screen shot of curves steps) it was psoted on creativeireland a while back and its bloody brilliant.

Love the colours you’ve achieved with the cross processing Gavin, and thanks
for the link to the original thread too. Must try it out on a couple of images myself,
if I can find something suitable. Really nice job.

Cool set! I feel so lazy when I see a series of photos so well processed, ready to print.

I like the first and last ones a lot.

I wonder if the 1st might have been stronger with the eye on one of the 1/3 intersections, maybe top right? I am one of those who say rules are meant to be broken, esp. that rule but I would love to see a shot with the 1/3’s applied on the eye if you have one.

The composition of the last really works for me. The second would have been a cracker too but it looks out of focus to me.
