Took the kids to the studio for an hour on Sat…
Here’s a few of the results:
Sophie (Age 7)
Logan (Age 22mnths)
Both together:
ImagineParticipantI love the last one, almost enough to make me have kinds (almost, lol).

Liked the rest of the keepers you showed me too. Might have a wee visit down with you soon
DeethedarkroomParticipantNot sure about the first one, Sophie just doesn’t look comfortable and at ease. The other two are crackers though, kids enjoying the session and looking like kids should.
How often have you had to tell people, “It’s not red, it’s strawberry blonde!” I have a cailĂn rua at home called Sophie too, hates being called a red head or a carrot top, etc. etc. IT’S STRAWBERRY BLONDE!PD_BARBSParticipantGreat set of shots, the last one in particular. What studio did you use ?
Sgt_MajorMemberFunny, the 1st one was entirely her directing me :)
“Daddy, I’m going to sit like this, and you stand over there and take my picture” :)
They were shot in Imagery Studio in Randalstown.
Thanks for the comments.
picturehouseMemberSgt_MajorMemberlousyParticipantHaven’t posted much on this site of late, and I really only post on something that really takes my eye. I’ve looked at these since the first day you posted them and maybe it was just laziness that I hadn’t posted until now.
Not jumping on the bandwagon here, but the third is outstanding. I love the ‘off camera’ engagement with the kids, and the composition and space to the upper right is just lovely, complimented by the nice framing of course.
The other two are also very nice and I couldn’t fault them, that is the little I know about studio shots, but they look really good to me.
Lovely children too.
Pat
Sgt_MajorMemberThanks Lousy, glad to see they inspired you enough to post on them.
The engagement off camera was mum with sweets :D I knew the ‘fissle’ of a sweety bag would catch their attention in a hurry :p
MichellaParticipantTwo beautiful subjects! Gorgeous hair! I would have used blue in the first shot to bring out the colour of Sophie’s eyes. She’s stunning.
Looking very much at home in the last one, nice fun shot:0)
Michelle.
