FS: Canon 1ds mkIII – Body Only

I’m selling this on behalf of my work.
Canon 1Ds III body only. The camera’s just over two years old. I haven’t got a correct shutter count yet. (tried on myshuttercount.com and it said it had only taken 1 photo!!) I would estimate it being in the region of 60k.
Very minor paint wear on the corner of the grip. Pretty standard stuff for a working camera. I’ll post actual photos when I’m back in the studio in a few days.
It’s been used solely indoors in a studio environment for Portraiture.
Reason for sale: Downsizing, we’ve started using the 5d mkII for studio stuff and it’s more than capable for our needs.
This is Canon’s Flag Ship PRO model. Please keep this in mind when considering the camera. It’s really not for everyone. It won’t make you a better photographer! It is a serious bit of kit and honestly if I could afford to, I’d buy it myself.

On the same site as you used for a price comparison there is a second hand one for €roughly €2,500 plus Vat. But i might be interested at the right price

Thanks for your interest in the camera. I’m afraid it seems that the 2nd hand one you were talking about is no longer on that site. So I’m unable to comment on it’s condition etc.
Your more that welcome to name what you think the right price is and I’d be happy to put it to the owner for consideration.:)
