I like this shot, Photoman. Good eye contact with the subject.
I’d suggest you should chop a chunk off the right hand size and end up with square or portrait format version.
At the moment the eye is in the centre of the picture. So cropping would move the eye to the right of the overall image and have the bird coming in to the frame from the right hand side.great capture, have to agree with swordie on the crop.
Also think the green background is too loud, it jumps forward taking you attention away from the subject.
