Paul, these are excellent shots indeed! A 300 f2.8 must have set you back a few bob…. You are professional I assume?
I am hoping to get more into sports photography, and have managed to get a Canon 300 f4 L IS (awaiting delivery) for a mixture of football, rugby, hockey and cricket etc.
You never know – I might be knocking on your door to accompany you on a GAA shoot sometime soon.got a gr8 deal on the 300mm got it second hand, im only partime, at the photos
the canon 300mm f4 will be a gr8 job for the football rugby and hockey, you will need a convertor for the cricket i used a sigma 170-500mm for cricket before i got the convertor for my 300

liamoParticipantmervifwdcParticipantctwomeyParticipantHi all,
Just thought I would introduce myself. My name is Conor Twomey and I have been covering the Laois Football Team at the O’Byrne Cup over the last 4 weeks. Loved it, mind you froze to death on the sideline.
All my images are on my website, so no need to post them here. http://www.conortwomey.com/
All the best.
Regards,
Conor
