Welcome to the forum shutter… and a nice start that you’ve made too :)

Being honest the first shot does nothing for me, but the second shot is jujst wow. It’s amazing how a different perspective on an old theme can really make for a fantastic photograph. If I was to make any suggestions it would probably be to whack up the blue a little in the shot and definitely add a border so it stands out a little. But all in all, very pleasing to the eye.

Fantastic idea, to take shots of the flowers from BELOW. Makes me feel like an ant! The first one, though, feels a bit boring. Fantastic colours though, and the light coming through the petals on the second shot is just great.

Great to see creativity with the perspective in the second shot – I will be stealing that idea in the near future :D

i LOOOOOOOOOOVE the second shot. It’s great when a shot is composed so well that you can almost feel that you’re there.
    Excellently done :)

Hey, thanks for the great feedback.

I can see what you mean about the first one (although it’s my favourite plant at the moment), it’s quite flat looking.
I’ve attached a second version of this which might be better. And a sea holly from the same shoot (reminds me of the statue of liberty)

Many thanks again, I’ve never shown anyone my photos before. Feel like I’m back at college again having my first crit

Some very nice shots there, 2, 3 and 4 are the best. Love the angles taken.
