connieParticipantLove the artistic one. :) The other two are nice also, but I do love the composition of the 3rd as well as the creativity x
tsergairlMemberCelticpicsParticipantHi , I think the third one is the more interesting one.
the composition is better than the others, wich gives it more appeal.
i would love to see it in a lighter hdr treatment (if it is hdr…?).
nice work.
cheers. Philippe.tsergairlMemberPaul WhParticipantHi tsargirl, I’d go with No1, I’m no fan of HDR so I don’t like that part of the image but I do like the composition of the 1st image, the swirl of movement on the water ties the center of the image together,
phillipMemberall three shots look soft, but that could be me with old age, processing is over cooked but could be the look you are going for, composition wise could be better, cant see any interest just could be bold colors distracting me.
alpacaParticipantReally like the composition of the third shot, I personally don’t like hdr that over cooked but if it’s what your after sure why not :)

Tsar girl. I’m with Paul on this one. But just because the composition ties it together doesn’t make it say anything to me beyond pretty landscape.
In a lot of your other images I like that you have something say or some observation on the subject matter.
Sorry that sounds negative, but you are a good story teller and pretty pictures don’t light my fire. When you finish school and start getting paid, clients want more than just the subject. They ask for a point of view or a story. For example, a great portrait isn’t just a likeness. It tells us something about the person. Something take the photographer saw and captured. A box of corn flakes can have personality.
