Very nice Jenny. How did you light the foreground ? And what sort of settings were you using ? I was down on the Dingle peninsula last weekend and I had a go at this type of photography. It was pitch black down there an I have never seen so many stars :)

I shot for 20 seconds at 4000 iso for this. https://www.flickr.com/photos/22330403N02/16896044282/” onclick=”window.open(this.href);return false; I would love to have another go at it with a lower ISO.

Thanks guys, just from memory it was ISO 2000 f2.8 24mm and 20s exposure,
I had a small torch to “paint” the gate.
