Genova Nervi

This is the town of Nervi, a 40 minute train ride from the centre of Genoa. I got fined 50 euro on the way there for not having the right ticket. then on the way back, having made sure i had the right ticket for the return journey…i tried to validate it in the machine on the platform only to find it didn’t work (seems to be the way with anything electronic in Italy). so i boarded the train anyways as it was about to leave. 45 seconds later the SAME conductor walks down the train to check the tickets. when he sees my unstamped ticket he says ‘ok you must stamp before get on train…..i fine you 50 euro’! NOT A CHANCE! several minutes of me cursing about how the stupid machine wasn’t workin later he suggested a five euro fine which i paid so he’d bugger off.
Don’t let that put you off though, its a beautiful place.

nice light and well exposed, again I like the sky.
I like the composition, pity there was’nt anyone sitting on the benches
to give it an added feature.I like it.
