Getting Jazzed about the RWC???

Kick off less than 4 hours away!!!!
What are the chances of the Lads from Ireland going all the way?
I know I will be throwing down a few and watching and cheering. All though many say they haven’t a prayer in heaven to make it out of there group I say bring it on!!
GizzoParticipantj_machaleParticipantYea good luck with that Gizzo! I think I would be VERY nervous if I was on the Italian team

Not much having watched last nights embarrassing effort.

beside Ireland’s match (they weren’t palying 100% by choice, IMHO, it’s more concerning the right attitude shown by the Pumas!!
absolutely stunning!
so far argentina first, then we’ll see who between France and Ireland…Jay KingParticipantRugby is one of my favourite sports to watch, especially when Ireland are playing… right up there with a good boxing or MMA match.
But watching Ireland v Namibia last night was horrible… hopefully the lads will play better in the next few games and any cobwebs are out of the system… The only consolation, is as Gizzo said… that Ireland weren’t playing at 100%, because I think they find it hard to play at their best when they know they don’t have to… Hopefully the big matches coming up will get them going. 3 points… plus a bonus point… not bad at then end of the day.
guthrijParticipantAfter watching the Blacks play Italy, it is all over for the Northern Hemisphere. None of the other teams in the Six Nations has blown away the Italians like that. NZ play on a different planet. Ireland, England, Scotland and Wales are bunched.
GizzoParticipanton my side I must say that I am 100% sure that italians in particular suffer of psicological pressure when it comes to play against AB.
and for the first 25 mins there was no Italy at all in the pitch. even a PI team could have score a try.
I am sure that at least other team can show a different, more challenging attitude.needless to say Italy’s goal is to go to quaterfinals… but it’s a longggg way to go….. expecially if we can’t find the right mental fitness…
breandainParticipantThe first thing I’d like to say to Gizzo is ‘In bocca al lupo’ with the rest of the tournament! I’d love to see them do well too, but the All Blacks result doesn’t really reflect on Italy but more on how good New Zealand are….excuses are all fine and good but unless the All Blacks bottle it big time the only teams that can challenge them would be Australlia or South Africa; a controversial omission of Ireland I know but if Namibia can score 17 points and hold Ireland to 32, what will NZ do?!?

I have to agree with you here mate the Blacks looked simply awesome and my guess unless a injury sidlines a key player they look unstopable.
USA earned some respect playing England, the score didn’t show it but the last half of play America held stiff against the champs.
I wish I was there :(
guthrijParticipantJust watched Zimbabwe stuff the Aussies in the 20/20 cricket so I guess anything is possible. Come on Ireland!!

I need someone to sit me down and beat me with a baseball bat to force me to understand cricket. It looks like great fun but I swear I sit in front of the tube with a blank look on my face and wonder what on earth there doing.
 :?

I would need someone to beat me with a baseball bat to force me to watch it, never mind understand it.
guthrijParticipantGet your pads on and march to the middle. After tonight’s rugby performance and recent soccer results, cricket is the only sport that an Irish team has actually excelled at. Mind you England have not even done that!!
