These triffid wannabees can grow 15 feet high and the sap causes the skin to come up in
horrible blisters by making it extra sensitive to sunlight. This one was about 10 feet tall and
I tried to take it with flash but the effect was really weird – it sort of looked 3D because of the
lack of shadows where the eye expected them. This is the non-flash version.
I like this Pete, a real frame filler. Looks perfectly exposed too. Might
be worth messing about with a selective colour layer just to try to
boost the contrast in the greens though. You should post your flash
version too, sounds interesting…
