As if the world needs another Causeway photograph, but who can resist?
Cheers,
PeterbrownieParticipantLovely Peter…no one should ever tire of looking at
great shots of a beautiful location. Some day I will
have to get up there.Noel Browne.
SteveDParticipantHi Peter,
It is nice to see that you have come away from your trip to the North with a nice selection of images! The Causeway was a ‘must have’ I’m sure, and it looks like the conditions turned out well for you!
Now get back down South and leave us to it! :D

sean1098Memberthink he heard you the first time Steve..lol. Only joking ………….and great shot Peter. you did nindeed get some nice shots on your we visit up to see us.
Sean.
andy mcinroyParticipantThe National Trust aren’t going to like that Peter,
However, I like it very much. Lovely tones and drama in the sky.
My only suggestion would be to run the horizon through a distortion correction.
Many people come away from the Causeway wondering what all the fuss is about. However, when you wait until all the tourists have gone home and you get light like this, it is a magical place.

Is there an echo in here? =)Andy –
The National Trust can kiss my snowy white butt. Yes, that’s a good suggestion about the sky. I suppose I’m sort of partial to a little bit of barrel distortion in this regard, but most people would see it is a distraction. Or, more commonly: that lens is so wide you can see the curvature of the earth!I was going to revisit the causeway during the day to make a spherical pano of it, but then realized it would be overrun. I’ll wait until Winter, I think.
Cheers,

Where else did you visit?
petercoxMemberSteve –
I figured it was something like that. I have images of Dunluce, White Rocks (although the tide was fully in, which limited access), Ballintoy, the Causeway, Ballycastle, the Dark Hedges and Murlough Bay.That section of coast could keep you busy for years.
Cheers,
PeterSteveDParticipantThe road down to Murlough Bay in the dark is quite an experience, isn’t it!? I am looking forward to seeing your images of Dunluce, I find it to be a tricky spot to photograph.
DeeboParticipantLovely shot Peter and a very productive trip. Some real nice images and they should sell well
DeeniallmacParticipantgreat shot this, i’ve never been to the Giants Causeway…really really got to go.
