    I’ve been experimenting with HDR. Too Much? The original was very flat and lifeless.

    No not over the top at all, to my eyes it just looks well processed, lovely
    vibrant colours and even the peeling paint looks good, I must say a bit of
    HDR never hurt anyone and can look really good if dealt with restraint.

    Thanks Jenny. I love it myself. HDR is a bit like Marmite, either you love it or hate it.

    I hate OTT HDR, but this is the ideal subject for trying it out. I agree with Jenny, the vibrant colours look good, without looking over saturated. I find that grass / foliage in HDR is usually the first thing to suffer with odd looking colours & rarely looks good to my eyes.

    I agree Miki. I’ve tried it on landscapes and unless its very subtle it doesn’t work IMO

    looks great to me, good subject for hdr the detail comes alive and not OTT, the letters especially look they are3d. I’ve never been able to get hang of hdr myself.
