Hi everyone. I’ve been a member for a long time and a regular visitor but have never actually posted anything before, so here goes. One from yesterday.

Hi Aidy,

Nice capture, exposure looks good, well balance between distant mountain and sky.

Only critique would be in relation to composition.
1. Sapling bottom left corner –
2. Boat being cropped at the bow

Beautiful image , nice and sharp and nicely exposed. Crop is a little tight at the bottom and it would have been nice to position the rope into the corner pulling the boat slightly right. Lovely shot nonetheless and looking forward to seeing some more

Thanks for the comments folks. Agree with both comments re composition. Even at the time I was trying to leave more space below the boat but lens was at widest setting, no room to back up and didn’t want to lose any sky, but it was bugging me.

very nice, maybe a little dark but nice all the same
