Glencar waterfall cathaldParticipant July 30, 2009 at 8:49 pm Went for a wee run to Galway with the Arrow today and stopped at Glencar waterfall on the way home Cathal 5faytheParticipant July 30, 2009 at 8:56 pm Hi Cathal, That’s a nice one. Nice simple composition. Is that the wooley water I used to read so much about when I first joined? :) John. cathaldParticipant July 30, 2009 at 9:14 pm Thanks John you are correct this is the famous woolly water fairly easy to slow the shutter down up here as it is fairly dull with the overhanging trees Cathal aoluainParticipant July 30, 2009 at 9:35 pm Oohh I like that. Nice long exposure and the mist from it really adds to the atmosphere. Probably a little overexposed in the foreground though . . . minor thing really in the grand scheme of things here. Nice one Cathald TompixBandonMember July 30, 2009 at 11:40 pm Fine photograph. Lovely composition – seems simple to do but it veils the skill required. PD_BARBSParticipant July 31, 2009 at 8:38 am Nicely captured Cathal, love the wooly water. On negative would be the ferns in the foreground look abit over exposed. eshortieParticipant July 31, 2009 at 11:37 am Very nice shot Cathal have seen a few of this waterfall. Would love to take one of it myslef. As for the little bit of over exposure in the foreground, I’m sure it could be easily fixed up but it isn’t a huge distraction Broadford1Participant July 31, 2009 at 1:02 pm Lovely shot – well done. cathaldParticipant August 3, 2009 at 7:40 pm thanks for replies folks I will give the foreground a wee make over Viewing 9 posts - 1 through 9 (of 9 total) You must be logged in to reply to this topic.
