    Very nice….love the contrasting tones between the mountain and forest.

    Out of curiosity, i assume you weren’t using a polarising filter? I just started using one myself and it does wonders in removing the reflections off water.

    Thanks very much Eddie, nice comment. No I didn’t use a polariser for this idon’t think. I have polarisers for all my lenses, I love using them with Blue skies but to my knowledge I didn’t use one on that day.

    Good shot and very good placement in the foreground
    I am going to be staying here for 2 nights in 6 weeks time, so looking forward to this even more now

    Hi Michael,

    Lots of interesting stuff in this image and good use
    of the portrait format for the landscape.

    The different coloured layers of the trees is another point
    of interest.

    Nice textures in the water and the mountains.

    All topped off with the threatening sky.

    Well done.
