An early start yesterday morning to get to Glendalough in Co Wicklow for sunrise. This was the scene at the upper lake just after sunrise and a bit later at the lower lake. Quite a lot of photographers about too, not sure if any were PI members.
Would have liked some cloud detail but was still very happy with the conditions.

    Thanks for looking :)

Two great images especially like the second if you arranged the reeds and rock yourself you couldnt have composed them better…Came across your stuff on 1x.com yesterday and have to say it more than held its own with the best in the world.

These are great Gary, it must have been a real early start. I like the both shots but the first shot is my favourite with lovely morning light. Between the stillness of the water and the morning mist it’s hard to make out where the ground finishes and the reflection starts.

Great shot Gary. I was there on Saturday morning at the same time, maybe a bit earlier, looking for the mist, but it wasn’t there (damn weather lady and her lies!). Looks like we stood in exactly the same place :-)

    2.5 minute exposure

Not intending at all to hijack your thread…

    Both of these are smashing,
The first one you’ve done a fine job on the exposure,
I always find it tricky when there is a large amount of the frame in shadow,as there is in this one.
The second one is all about mood, and it has it in spades,
    Fine work all round.
