Nicely exposed shot Bren with beautiful colours. My only problem with the shot is I feel the 1st third (from left ) doesnt add much. I would have been tempted to go portrait on this one. Lovely action on the water and nice the way you have it re compsotion ie. flowing from top right.

Actually ., just looking again and maybe landscape does work ….though with a slight turn right maybe……but then you lose your water flow position in the composition….Hmmm…….The jury is out !…Nice shot nonetheless

Thanks Ras for comments – thankfully i always do take a portrait aspect just in case i get a call from a magazine

Two nice images Brendan, I normally a landscape fan but in this case I’m leaning towards the portrait image. I feel it’s better balanced compared to the landscape shot, the left side of the landscape image is a bit weak as Ras mentioned above.

Both lovely, but I’ll go for #2 or maybe a square crop of #1. Well done.

Kind of a follower of ‘landscape in landscape’ but in this case, have to say the portrait looks better! Great shot! Think it would look as good if you were to get rid of the Sun altogether, the light around the waterfall is spot on :)
