Here’s some shots I took last night (after all the rain)

    Which is best? If any…

    I like the fourth-
    then the third-

But must admit I’m not really a big fan of this type of shot, in general-
although I realize I’m in a tiny minority-

    No.3 for me.

I’m not sure about the sloping one(s). No.4 has a weird black blob – is it a stick/stone in the stream
    or a camera blob?

    #3 for me too.

Given that it’s post downpour, it might be just that the water was full of muck, but if you were shooting raw, I’d be tempted to make the colour temperature a bit cooler to lessen the yellowish look

Shots 3 and 4 are the best i think. The colours or something is not 100% for my liking (would be interesting to see what these colours would look like in print, i would go back to the originals in PS and re process). I would look at the white balance if you have raws of these and play around with the colours they look off or something cant put my finger on it, the colours remind me of bad prints made from print film or something. These are nice images its just the colours and sharpness is slightly off.

You have some nice pics on your web site keep posting

PS: You have a bit of dust on the mid left :-) You most prob already know

Thanks for comments everyone. Most seem to like #3 – even my wife :D

GFox – I too like the B&W – it’s just somethin different to the usual waterfall pics…

Martin – noticed the dust. Will try and reprocess the raw file and see what I can get…

Pete – is that the dust u spotted?

John – The water was very brown after all the rain – it was prob too much water to get a nice white colour in the water.

    Thanks again
