Goat Farm. AKA Terraced Goats Colour Version Added
-
5faytheParticipant
While travelling in the hilly countryside near Nerja in Spain we
came around a corner to find this goat farm perched on a
very steep incline at the side of the road.
I don’t know what the gradient was but I doubt if I would
be able to climb it.
How the goats were able to stand I do not know.John.
PixelleMemberThat’s fantastic, a real-live ..er…goat farm.
I’m glad you were able to stop
and I do hope that you have it in colour. Please?PixelleMemberHow the goats were able to stand I do not know.
And the goatherd? The milkmand? What about the vet??

And whoever built it. Well done John
jb7ParticipantThe men who stare at Goats-
that’s out this weekend, isn’t it?I read the book, the trailers for the movie look mad-
but might have been madder with Jon Ronson in the role of the journalist…This looks great, really nice-
especially the terraced goats-Doesn’t look like it would take much to knock them over…
5faytheParticipantMany thanks for your kind replies.
Pixelle I do have the colour original and will root it out later.
I too wondered how this was all put together and looked after.miki g yes how was it built? and who?
Hi Joseph.
Terraced Goats.
Good title.
Could I rent it?Thanks all.
Appreciate your comments.John.
jb7ParticipantYou may have it for nothing-
Although, at some point, I might want it back-
Great picture, must be good to see a print-
Alan RossiterParticipantGreat picture, must be good to see a print-
LARGE.
There looks to be a lot of detail there that would make great viewing.
5faytheParticipantThanks Joseph.
A rolling contract on the new title until such time
as the author wants it back.
That’s a good deal. :)Alan and Joseph.
I noticed that there seemed to be good detail in the pics I took of this
scene as soon as I viewed it on the laptop.
Even when magnified quite a bit.
I find this strange as it is taken handheld with the Canon EF 90-300
which is a bit hard to hold steady although it was at the short end. There is quite a few goats there to hold the interest. :)
Many thanks for the replies.
John.
aoluainParticipantgreat shot John,
Great conposition and the contrast and sharpness is great!
I think great is a great word
RobMemberMartinParticipant5faytheParticipantHi Alan, Rob and Martin.
It was a fascinating sight and site to be confronted with when
we came round the corner.
Still don’t know how they could stand and live on
such a slope.I appreciate your kind comments.
John.
DeeboParticipantExcellent pic John, been looking at this for over 10 mins or so. Stacks of detail and a scene of chaos.
Although I am sure the goats can easily live on this terrain :-)
DeeMartinOCParticipantDidn’t see this before now…this is really an outstanding shot.
The subject is crazy/wonderful and very well composed and taken.Fascinating, as you say yourself, is a good word to describe it.
