Going to the states in October

Hi all, New member here, and i’m looking for some information, advice etc.
I will be in the States for a few days at the end of october, and i’m finially going to take the plunge and buy a digital slr.
I have narrowed my choices to the Canon eos 20D or 30D.
I’m leaning to the 30D, and can get a kit with an 17-85mm is lens, and a 75-300 usm lens for about 1300eu, or with a 18-55mm, 28-135mm is, and 75-300mm 111 lenses for about the same, both are including cards etc.
or I can get the same kind of deals on a 20D with 17-55 and 75-300 lenses for about 800eu.
What do you think, is the 30D that much better than a 20D (which I have used) taking the extra lanses into account etc.

Davedave you may not be able to get the 20D at all … or at least you may have trouble finding a shop with any of them in stock. If you do find it you should be abelt to get a good deal as it has been superceded by the 30D.
