I like this one Sean. Great colour and detail across the range. Could the island be less black though? The further aay things are, the lighter they tend to get. Maybe that’s the way it was!

    Nice one from you though.

    Alan.

I like this mate :) the sky is excellent but i dunno about the rock ? I had a wee play with it hope you dont mind !

I like the conv Ricky. Did you dodge in below the clouds to make the rays? Although you can see where you removed Glasheedy rock with the clone tool.

It was not this dark /alan, but not far away. I would say the grad darkened it up a lot and thought it was not worth dodging it in as liked it like that.

Some very fine attributes to this shot. Definetly something special about the light and the clarity. Not so sure if the rocks add much to this, I think the image could nearly survive with maybe a little less rock.

I like the edit too… the light beams are very good… but RGH: edits are great, I’m all for them but if you’re going to post edits I think you should be prepared to include a write up on what the edits were.

I’d keep the Isle, just adds that little extra interest.

great shot, but the island does have a very artifical feel to it. The edited versions a class… way beyond my photoshop skills, however, you can still see where the island was………. you’ll just have to get the island flattened and re-shoot :-P

I jus sat a typed a tutorial on how to make the light rays and it failed to post !!!!!!!!!!!!!! i must of spent to long on it ?

I will post what i done tomorrow ;)

I like everythign about that picture, rocks, clouds, rays. Looks very mystical.. espacially purple tone of this photo makes it more mysterious..
