Hi thomas, i know you love colours…but it seems a bit too much. love the detail in the water and the focus on the foreground. I think the image is a bit out of breath as it has no space at the top, the feeling is “locked”…i had this experience with one of my last images and the effect for the observer is very iritating. The complimentar colours have a great game in that image which makes it adorable but still out of tune for me. do you have another image with more sky?
Hi thomas, I had a look at your website and I have to say you have some lovely shots, this one is not up to anywhere near the standard of those on your website. This one just looks far to processed. Yes it has the makings of a lovely shot, in respect of the composition, but the blown highlights are, well, terrible. Sorry.
Did you use a ND Grad filter on this shot??
