The finches were in abundance today!

I noticed that myself today. There was not a bird in sight and while I was hanging the refilled feeders on one of the trees about 20 Goldfinches landed on the branches above me :shock:

Thanks Mikka, yes I managed to get some Nyger seed so that may have had
something to do with it :)

Yes I agree, taken with a 50-500 at full stretch and through glass so not ideal, am
going to rig up the hide outside so at least I will be able to do away with the glass :)
and gradually move it closer so that I wont have to push the lens so much. Thanks

Thanks for looking Kilcoursey, I have been extremely lucky with Goldfinches
this spring, yesterday there were 13 on the feeder :)
