Two really good efforts here.
The subject, composition and DOF are really good.
I do think a little extra sharpness, especially around the eye
area, would have really made them special.Well done.

Couldn’t quite focus on the eye on the first one cos he was whipping about but did focus on the eye on the “dead” one…does it not look sharp? I thought it did? Maybe its because of the sun shining on it.

I reckon the first is a belter. The 2nd is nice but I don’t
like it as much as the first.Pete
