You’re going to start talking about lines again Simon, aren’t you?? Ok, I see the lines, but still can’t grasp this whole tension thing.
For me, even though we’ve discussed this shot before, it still doesn’t work for me. Perhaps it’s the missing nipple? Perhaps its the fact it’s shot from eye level?? Sorry mate, but an average shot for me and not one of your better ones in my opinion.

I think that it tells the story of a real old fasioned “Gentleman”
Reminds me of my grandfather standing in the garden having a smoke while taking a break from planting the spuds…..
I’ve looked at this a few times now because I like it, but i was trying to figure out why … :? I think its the space and different levels all around him and I think it tells a story.
