Just a quick introduction;
My name is Barry (20), a Cork man out and out. From my childhood i always enjoyed taking photographs, however when i was younger (10/12) i somehow always managed to mess up loading the film in my glorified disposable camera and wasted my pocket money developing photos which never existed in the first place.
In the last 5 years i began taking it all a bit more seriously and invested in a Nikon D40x around ’06/’07 and since then have built up my kit and ‘acquired’ my dads Pentax K1000 and kit… unfortunately the majority of the last 18 months of my life have been spent on ships where only intrinsically safe electronics are allowed outside the accommodation for fear of a slight BANG.
Although this limited my camera time i have plenty of time to work on skills while on leave and all thats missing now is a car, my dilemma new camera body/car?Pentax K1000, 28mm f2.8 Hanimex, 50mm f1.9 Chinon, 80-205mm f4.5 Gemini
