Hello photographer friends ! I’m really glad to join your group.
I’m from south of France and I planned to come and live in Ireland from May 2015 until… one day (stay 1 year could be perfect). I’m freshly graduated with a 3-year degree in Tourism. I would like to take advantage of my free time to go in an english speaking country (you get it, I chose Ireland!), to improve my language, meet great people, see worthwhile things and get some professional experience in Tourism.
I’m passionate by photography since 2008, when I got my first SLR. Since I evolved in my work and now I begin to use 35mm film. Currently, I’m in touch with the photo club of my town, with lab, some classes and meetings with the other photo lovers. I’m not really good in film development but I try to doing my better.
I’m the pleased owner of a Canon 600D, a Canon AE-1 Program (50mm 1.8.) and two Zenit with Helios (Russia made good stuff sometimes!).I expect of Photography Ireland to learn more about photo’s vocabulary, meet people animated by the same passion than me, and find some information about film development (good-to-know adress, photo club, etc…)
I still don’t know in which corner of Ireland I’m going to land but I’ll hold you informed!

Welcome Charlotte !. Thats a great first post on the site.
Its nice to see that you are also using film as well as digital. Let us know where you end up staying in Ireland.
