Good software for the business side of photography?

  • Anyone know of any good software that is good for the business aspect of photography (invoicing/date management)? I knew there was one posted up somewhere recently to a link?

If you want to be able to send your quotes, invoices and statements via email, then ‘MYOB Accounting’ is worth getting and paying the extra for.
You may need ‘MYOB Accounting Plus’, if you work in multiple currencies.

Used that during the 90’s – but the yearly fee seemed a bit much, especially as there was no upgrades in sight.

    Hi

    Question for Sean1098.
I recently purchased a MacBook pro after 25 years of PC’s. What part of iWork do you use for invoicing, quotes etc.? it is not on the Mac so I would like to know how useful it is before I buy.
    Thanks

    Anthony,

I have a great book keeping spreadsheet for excel my finacial advisor gave me i could email it to you. Its self calculating and gives all the figures required for (online) self assement on the last page.

That sounds very good. I’d love to get a copy if possible.

I’ve been looking at Instant Admin, but it doesn’t do 4 monthly returns and I’ve asked about it a few times now, and their sales people aren’t very forthcoming.

I’d love to the Excel sheet.. sean at seanmccormack dot com
