hi there, 3 nice pics there , good composition etc ,. the first image is the strongest . the most obvious fault is that the whites are overexposed and are blown in all the images. what camera are you using?
Thanks for the feedback. You know you are right in regards to the whites. Now that you have mentioned it really stands out. I’m using a 350d with the kit lens however I adjusted the levels in Photoshop and this is probably what caused the issue with the whites. It is something will try and watch for in the future. Here are the three originals in case you’re interested.
I like the first one best too. As for the whites, when shooting in digital expose for the highlights, you can always work on the shadows in photoshop, or whatever.
the horizon is off (no 1 & 2), no 3 doesn’t do anything with me.
no 1 is bit chaotic, the eyes need more guidance, the layers are not seperated. maybe some colour and contrast adjustment would make it better! Keep practesing and try different angles of every location! cheers Madeleine
