Gran Canaria… more than just Sean’s Bar

a haven for mountain bikers with 100’s upon 100’s of km’s of very quiet trails. Great for walking too and with the good weather all year round makes it a perfect winter holiday destination.

I like the shot, although a bit hazy (or maybe it’s just my monitor? lol)… but what’s with the black bars?

I’m afraid to say, but looking at this just makes me woozy. The horizon is badly sloped and with the large black bars it gives it a completely wrong feel. Shot wise it’s also a little hazy, which could be helped by a slight boost in contrast. With a few small tweaks this could be a cracking shot, because it has bags of potential.

A very quick edit – and I’m by no means an expert. Hope you like it.

Its amazing when you look at stuff for long enough you don’t notice the obvious…never noticed the horizon but now I do and yeah I feel woozy too looking at it… have a the large version which I will play around with and post for some updated C&C..thanks for the feedback.

Definitely the makings of a super shot. It’s not every day you get the opportunity to take a shot like this. Definitely worth
perfecting this one. Look forward to seeing the edit.

I was there a few weeks ago and got this shot… taken with a cheap sony camera at low rez…. just finishing off six hours of biking and trying unsuccesfully to get down from 2000 meters before it got dark….!
