Just went for a walk along the canal this morning. Dunno if this is the correct section but I suppose the canal is used for travel, anyways I wasn’t sure what section to put these pix in so feel free to move them if you want.

In anyways let me know what you think of the set. Sorry for posting so many pictures together.

Nice wee set,the first pic,i find the foreground rock to dominating, and the back ground is soft/out of focus. It looks like you focused on this, which has left the rest of the pic blurry.i would have focused on the rock behind that, and stepped back a wee bit, then the whole pic would have been sharp.Or did you want the background thrown out of focus?.

I like the second, and the conversion in the third is nice.

Did not know there was pirates in ireland.

Yeah I focused solely on the rock. I even ran the blur tool over the background in PS. I couldn’t see too many interesting this in the background so I tried to blur it out a bit. I hae other shots of the background but I preferred this one with the blur.

Wasn’t sure if I cropped too close on the third picture. Funny story about that swan. When I was over on that bank, the swan wasn’t there. I was taking a few snaps then the swan came swimming up to me and started growling (or whatever you call the sound she was making) at me. I reckon I must have been very close to her nest because I couldn’t see any babies around.

Cheers for the comment. And pirates appear to be very common in Ireland, there were two seperate boats down at the canal with Pirate flags. You could say it was a fleet.
