I’m a Clare woman born and bred ,but I’ve been living in the UAE for the last year teaching secondary school English.
I found this site randomly whilst looking for photography courses that I could take at home should I decide to return. I love taking photographs and would love to pursue this in the future. I hope over the coming weeks to post photos for critique and would really value other member’s comments and advice. My main interests are taking shots of people and everyday life. I’ve been lucky to travel a lot during school holidays (the perks of teaching!) and I have a lot of different shots from a number of countries in the middle east and asia. I’m really looking forward to hearing back from members and if anyone has any advice on courses to take at home (full time, hopefully if i show any potential) and career prospects at home and abroad I would greatly appreciate it!S

Welcome to the site. I can’t help you with photography course info but there are a couple of sponsers/members of this site who run courses, I’m sure you can get good info here. Looking forward to seeing some your photos.

I am looking forward to seeing some pictures from Dubai – as I have never been there…..Hi again Sinead, you might want to look in to Distance Learning for the moment.
As far as I know the Photography Institute does a little of that as well.
