OK, so this might or might not be the right place to post this.

It’s that slide film that i took with the holga.. when i hold it up to the light it looks grand but when i scan it it comes out practically pitch black.
Does that meam that there’s something wrong with my scanner or is the photo underexposed??
Grrr will they be like this if I get any printed?

    Feeling uber frustrated right now.

I’d say they are unerexposed. Bummer.. that stuff is pricey. I had the same problem recently with Some slide i took, it was shot at 800 and developed, at 400. (due to lack of MF developing skills on the decline). it was a fuji film that could be shot anywhere between 100/1000) They look ok but a little dark in strong sunlight but my scanner made nothing from them. As said, slide needs to be exposed almost bang on, there’s lot of punchy prints films, why not try them? the latitude they have is more forgiving, and when you have zoned in on your metering system with that, then do some slide. Well, thats what i’d do. Maybe next go you’ll make some kick ass slides! I hope so!

Yup Aimee, if they seem fine in the light and only have difficulty when scanning, I can scan them for you no probs? Just send me an email, J
