was down at howth today where people were feeding a seal. he was a bit too quick but got a few of the gulls

Unfortunately they aren’t all sharp, No.1 is the best in this respect. The compositions/poses look good though. Try upping the ISO for a shorter shutter time and/or using a bit of flash to help freeze the action next time.

thanks for the tips. was trying to follow then around and got carried away with the camera settings. too much haste im afraid. but ill try to take on board what you said. thanks again

Totally agree with Goose (sounds like something from Top Gun) It is a pity they weren’t sharp as the actual captures them selves have so much potential if that makes sense. Keep at it, I have the feeling it will come right for you.
