Hahnel Giga T-Pro II Wireless Remote – Good investment??

Does anyone have any experience with the Hahnel Giga T Pro II Wireless Remote Control?
I am thinking of getting one of these for my Nikon D300, after finding out the other night my own wireless remote isn’t compatible with bulb mode.
They seem to be fairly good for the price.
Anyone have an opinion on them :?:Thanks, John
Bought one about a year ago, but never got around to using it. They are ok & the intervalometer function is handy for time-lapse & it has a good range. The instruction sheet is poorly written though & can be confusing, but once you try it out a few times, you can probably forget the instruction sheet as you’ll know what each button does. :?

As long as it is good for bulb mode and has a good range i’m happy.
Might try my hand at the time lapse photography too when I get it.I have one and I find it handy enough, the only thing that bugs me about it
is the trigger switches itself off after a few seconds if it is not being used, handy
to save batteries I suppose but annoying if you are waiting for that crucial
moment for a bird to land in the right spot and you push the button and ….nothing!Dont know if you can adjust the idle time, must look it up :)
Have that problem with the one I have also.
Can it be turned back on by the remote, without having to go back to receiver on the camera?Yes you can turn it on again on the remote, but if it is dark and you have
it the wrong way round you end up pushing the wrong button and that “magic”
moment is gone :lol:
