Very hard to get a good shot of the moon. I know I’ve tried. I think to impress with a shot of the moon it needs to be big in the frame and sharp so that people see details not normally visible to the naked eye. The EXIF info indicates that it was zoomed to 150mm. From what I read this camera can go a lot more.

The exposure is good. Next time don’t be afraid to fill the frame.

I can see a lot of uses for this shot. If you could drop in an horizon taken on a dark evening with some trees in it you would have an excellent shot and a real eye catcher.
PS The detail on the moon that you have captured is terrific.
