Hand grip strap

I am thinking of getting a hand strap for my a700, has anyone used one and found
it useful? I have the beginnings of arthritis in my hands and thought it would help as
I wouldn’t have to have such a tight hold on it. The camera is still quite comfortable
to hold just not for long periods, I have a neck strap and always have it round my neck
but find I still hold on to the camera as well, (it stops it swinging about)

    Hi Shutterbug

I have a Sony A350 and bought a hand strap about a year ago off ebay when I developed repeditive strain injury in my wrist. It makes the camera so much easier for using and particularly for carrying around, as it gives that extra little bit of comfort for the user and allows you to stretch your hand without having to let it hang on your neck.

It makes the camera easier to carry too as you can walk for long periods with in hanging comfortably in your hand as opposed to the weight of it around your neck.

I would recommend a hand strap!

Thanks for that Angela, I was thinking it would take the strain better than
a neck strap, I would probably use it with a smaller rather than a larger lens.
Thanks again for your input :)
