nfl-fanParticipantjb7Participant
Thanks for the nice comments-
appreciate it-They’re the same picture Sharon-
that’s a detail from the centre-
dunno if you got that from what you were saying-There are lots of little details like that in the picture-
I’ve printed this a little less saturated overall,
and a lot less in the sky-
and it looks ok-
Its offline, but I’ll add it here later-Hope you’re all having a good one-

ulinkaMemberI will never forget this picture Joseph, I think it’s beautiful.
The lights, the crowd, the buildings. Really nice.
You captured incredibly well the xmas buzz on Grafton Street…jb7ParticipantThank you Urzsula,
very nice of you to say so-Now, if only the weather was less appalling,
we could do some more-
Looks like tomorrow isn’t going to be too bad-
much lighter winds for a start-j
nfl-fanParticipantNow, if only the weather was less appalling,
we could do some more-
Looks like tomorrow isn’t going to be too bad-
much lighter winds for a start-Ya.. crap weather.. but according to Met.ie:
Mainly dry and bright tomorrow, with much lighter winds – but rather cold again.
Planning a trip to Glendalough!
ulinkaMemberYes, terrible weather :)
A good reason to stay at home with sweets and hot chocolate :pnfl-fanParticipantHerr Sieben…
Have been searching around for this one the past 30 minutes… and obviously just found it… along with the info I was looking for.
I was walking up Grafton Street last week… and this shot sprung to mind… and I wondered how you managed the perspective… though you might have your head out the window atop that camera shop towards the top end of the street. See now you’ve were using your scaffolding tripod.
Brilliant photograph… has grown on me a lot since seeing it photographed on Sharon’s photo blog… very inspiring (ie. I plan on nicking the idea).
Gets me in the mood for going down to Grafton Street during the month of December… and I’d usually prefer to roll around on hot coals than endure Christmas Shoppers.

BTW: Anyone see Ulinka?
jb7ParticipantWow- is it that time of year already-
perspective? very large tripod, legs too close together, column all the way to the top-
It actually came out very sharp, considering that I did everything wrong-So go for it- would like to see another-
though I might not put myself through it again…
Another option is a stepladder-
should be part of every camera bag-Urszula- I met up with her in London in the summer, she moved there-
seems to be having fun-Funny to see this one again-

DenverDollParticipantI love this photo and just feel compelled to show everyone how it prints up and frames~~~
