DenverDollParticipant
This guy was the best part of my walk around the lake today!
cc welcome of course!
bethParticipantlittle overexposed for my tastes, but very nice detail. i’m continually amazed at the out of camera detail and spot on focusing your camera does (you must be doing something right to get your camera to cooperate like that, lol). great color, i love the dog’s pose too.
bethMartinParticipantReally like dogs, missing my own dog Ben like mad can’t wait to get back to see him on Monday:-)
This is a very nice picture, you caught the picture at just the correct time. He looks very happy and looks as if he is waiting for someone to throw something for him. Is he yours? Really like the background, the water and reads provide a great background. Only negative thing i can say is that the background is slightly overexposed (dog is exposed fine maybe very slightly under exposed) but i don’t think this takes from it to much
Well done
MartinExpresbroParticipantLovely shot Shar. A real taste of summer :D I’d agree with the others that it does look slightly over exposed..but not a whole heap. You’re histogram should confirm this. Love the colours..and compositionally I like the way you’ve gotten right down to his level…hope you didn’t get your knees wet…
DenverDollParticipantbeth~~~thank you! So far, it’s the one thing I am suceeding at. It may be all the camera. I am just pleased as punch with her. I’ll go back and check and see what I can do about the exosure because I want to keep this shot
Martin~~~Am thrilled you like it too! This must mean it is your last full day in D.C.? Hope you are having fabulous weather and are able to make the most of it!
That’s not my dog. My little poodle was splashing around like mad, but I can take photos of her anytime, and this guy was so funny. His people were tossing a stick and he would not go further than where he is now. Everytime they threw it, he would leap after it and then stop there and turn back and just smile at them. He was a big chicken :)
I know what you mean about missing your dog. Give him a cuddle for me too :wink:Expresbro~~~aw thanks Robbie..you know that means the world to me. It does have definite exposure probs yep!
Am on the lookout for a suitable pair of pink wellies for my inlake shooting. I just checked and my sneakers are dry, so to tell the truth, I don’t remember how I avoided getting wet..but now that ya mention it, I am pretty proud of myself :lol:Sharon

Martin
DenverDollParticipantMartin~~~ I think you did a lot in four short weeks. You must be one fast driver !!!
I’ll plan your next visit to fill in the spots you missed :D
Safe travel in that traffic between the D.C and Boston!
Still hoping to see those shots when you get home and rest a bit.
Take care there,
SharonsteelydanParticipantGreat Photo Sharon I like the was the Huskey has full attention of whatever he/she is waiting to catch.Made a few adjustments in Levels but i am not the greatest in photoshop??

Your photoshop is lovely really. Truly brings out his coat and just gives him some more punch.
