Hasselblad 500 c/m to rent ??

    Hi,

I haven’t been on the website for a while and typically I’m here to ask if I can borrow something.

Hi,I’m a photographer from the Bray area and I was curious if anybody would be willing to rent out a Hasselblad 500 c/m for a day.I am careful with my equipment and would treat yours with equal respect.
I have been fascinated by the DOF and format of the hasselblad for sometime, especially as a portrait camera with the 80mm lens and I have an opportunity to shoot a friend and I thought this would be perfect.
Is there anybody out there willing to loan??As I said I am willing to pay and also have collateral in the way of other equipment.Or if somebody fancied having a go with a set of Bowens studio lights this would also be an option

I’m welcome to other ideas but I would really appreciate the help

    NIck :)

DML.ie would rent you one, I have one but I wouldn’t rent it and wouldn’t be in Bray very often. I think you should try to tag along with some other photographer and check out theirs instead of renting.

DML look interesting alright, thanks.Just to be clearer I am living in Bray but spend 5 days a week in Dublin so If anybody is the the Dublin area that would be cool too.

“think you should try to tag along with some other photographer and check out theirs instead of renting.”

Not entirely sure what you are suggesting here.Tagging along with somebody would be fine, but not sure I’d get a proper feel for the camera with someone over my shoulder,I’m sure most people would understand that, this is why I am suggesting renting. As I mentioned in my message also I would be using the camera for a shoot so being attached to another photographer for the duration would not be ideal.

    Thanks anyway
