It is OTT without a doubt, but what a fantastic OTT processing.
I really like the end result here although I agree that it might not be for everyone… but hardly any photograph is for everyone anyways!Great stuff!

Thanks for the comments, all. This, believe it or not, is the less OTT version of the original.. The original is colour.
It’s a 6 image HDR, tone mapped and then given a few tweaks courtesy of Mr & Mrs curves, levels and desaturation / toning. Oh, and don’t forget uncle unsharp mask!

SodaAs said by the others this is a bit over the top and looks more like a drawling but i do like it. I would say that this would print really nice.

Afraid it’s an optical illusion! Believe me – I spent ages making sure it was straight with guides in photoshop, as like you, I was convinced it wasn’t!!
