    There was a recent discussion on HDR here on the site, so the following
    may well be of interest to several of you. Looks good.

    HDR / CGI Workshop for Photographers

    One day workshop covering all aspects of HDR including;

    • History, how and why this exciting new field came about. Why HDR is the
    new RAW.
    • Theory, dynamic range, bit depth, HDR file formats explained.
    • Shooting, step by step guide to shooting HDR images.
    • Tone mapping, overview of the main HDR software packages and how to
    achieve a natural looking result.
    • 360° panoramic HDR images, how to create 360° panoramic HDR images and
    why they are so important in CGI.
    • HDR in a CGI workflow, how the CGI industry uses HDR images to create
    photorealistic results.

    Date: Sat. 20th of September 2008
    Venue: Mercer Hotel, Dublin, (behind the Royal College of Surgeons).

    I wish I found this post sooner, I would have loved to have gone.. anything like this happening this coming year?
